Professor Rodriguez is an accomplished academic and applied researcher, and is the holder of four nanotechnology related patents involving polymers. His Doctorate in Science (Physics) from Facultad de Ciencias, Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM) was completed in 1987. He is currently on the faculty of UNAM at the Center for Applied Physics and Advanced Technology. Professor Rodriguez has published over 85 papers and 1 book chapter. He has been invited to present at over 45 conferences.
