Coating for Easy Paint Removal
We have developed a coating that can be used on a variety of substrates (plastic, steel, aluminum, rubber, etc.) that allows for the easy removal of dried-on paint. The coating is essentially transparent with a thickness of approximately 10 micrometers. The coating can be manufactured using standard techniques and at an economical cost. We would adjust this coating to meet your specific needs.
The following movies show how easy it is to remove paint from a variety of substrates. In all cases, the paint was applied by dipping and then allowed to dry for 30 minutes. This procedure was repeated twice and then the part was baked in an oven at 80 °C for two hours.
